Vision: The Lord provides all!

Yesterday I was resting in the Lord taking time to just BE with Him. All of a sudden, I was in an open vision. A large key appeared around my neck and as I noticed the key, a large door made of hewn wood appeared. The keyhole to the door was on the left side and had a ring above it to pull open the door. I placed the key that had appeared around my neck in the keyhole, turned the latch and pulled the door open.
The room was full of bright light even though I saw no lamps or light bulbs. As I began to focus my eyes, I saw that the room was full of bags of money, gold, and riches. It was stacked everywhere on shelves, on the floor, on the table. In the center of the room, the Lord was sitting at an old hand hewn table; He asked me to sit down at the table with Him. As I sat down, I noticed the old hand hewn table we were sitting at and wondered why the Lord of the universe would sit at an old table like this. He began to ask me some questions.
He pulled out a large letter, the letter “Z”. It was probably at least 16 X 20 inches. He handed it to me and said, “Would you rather have this, referring to the letter “Z”, or this money?” He motioned to the stack of money, gold etc in the room.
“What does the “Z” represent, Lord?” I asked Him.
“It represents ZEAL.” He answered
It didn’t take me long to respond. “I’ll take the letter “Z”. I said.
Then He reached behind His chair and pulled out the letter “A”. “Do you want this letter “A” or do you want the money in this room?”
“What does the letter “A” represent?” I asked
“I’m glad you asked.” He said. “It represents the ANOINTING.”
“I’ll take the letter “A”. I responded.
Then once again, He reached behind His chair and pulled out the letter “I”. “Do you want this letter “I” or do you want the money in this room?”
Once again, I asked, “What does the letter “I” represent?”
“It represents INTIMACY with me.”
“I’ll take the letter “I” instead of the money Lord.”
At that moment, the Lord put His head back and began to laugh! The joy He demonstrated had me both surprised and joyful. I had the understanding at the moment that not only was He giving me A to Z and everything in between, but the riches as well. The next thing I knew I was back, lying on the couch in my office.
As I was meditating on the vision, I muttered a question. “I wonder why He seemed to value that old table He was sitting at.” I heard in my Spirit that it was a table His Son had made as a carpenter while He was on the earth. “It’s valuable to me,” the Lord seemed to say, “because it was made by My Son.”
This open vision demonstrated to me the Lord’s value system. He values His relationship with us more than the riches money can buy. He values the choices we make to choose Him and His gifts and empowerment over monetary riches. And He values the things made by those precious to Him.
Psalms 19:9-11 “The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.
They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.
By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.”
Psalms 119:72 “The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.”
The question remains, “What do you value?”
The riches of this world are only valuable in that they enable us to advance His Kingdom. Spending time in the King’s Presence is more valuable than gold, and yet the gold is there too. He has us covered, A to Z. Let us value Intimacy with Him, the anointing He has given us, and the Zeal for His house more than we value the monetary riches He provides. He is our Provider…….A to Z and everything in between.
As I remember the Lord’s laughter, I throw my head back and begin to laugh with Him.
